Springer Correctional Center

Springer Correctional Center is located in Springer New Mexico.  It was formerly a juvenile facility and was changed in 2007 to a level I and II minimum security institution that can house nearly 300 inmates.  Inmates are housed in eight dormitories.  Two segregation units are reserved for inmates with safety/security concerns or offenders with disciplinary issues who have become difficult to manage.  The facility is secured by numerous cameras and two perimeter fences.

Offenders at this facility can receive substance abuse treatment, and take a vocational courses.  Additionally, inmates housed at Springer Correctional Center can earn a GED during their sentence.

Visiting Hours at Springer Correctional Center:

Visiting is on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 8:30am-3:30pm.  You must have an approved visitors application on file before you can attend a visiting session.
