Poplar Hill Pre-Release Unit

Poplar Hill Pre-Release Unit is located in Quantico Maryland.  This prison can house approximately 155 adult inmates who are preparing to be released.  The Pre-Release Unit prepares inmates by teaching them basics about interviewing for a job, and writing resumes.  In addition, inmates are given a variety of pre-release counseling.

Visiting Hours at Poplar Hill Pre-Release Unit:

Visiting is on Wednesdays from 7pm-9pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-1pm.  You must arrive at least one hour prior to the end of visitation or you will not be allowed to enter the facility.  The duration of the visit is 2 hours.  Inmates are allowed three visits each week.  A maximum of five visitors are allowed but no more than three of the visitors can be adults or children.
