Mark H. Luttrell Correctional Center is a close custody facility located in Memphis Tennessee.  It houses up to 454 female inmates.  Mark H. Luttrell Correctional Center is also responsible for running a minimum security annex that houses 120 female offenders.  All inmates are provided basic medical, dental and mental health treatment services during their incarceration.  Additionally, offenders can receive individual and group counseling, and receive substance abuse treatment that includes Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous.

Mark H. Luttrell Correctional Center has a dog training program that allows the inmate to work with shelter dogs from the Collierville Animal Shelter.  The program enables offenders to teach the dogs obedience training and is one of the most coveted programs at the facility.  This prison offers various religious worship services and additional counseling through the Chaplain's office.

Visiting Hours at Mark H. Luttrell Correctional Center:

Offenders are allowed up to four visitors per visit.  Processing of visitors stops at 10am for the morning count and resumes at approximately 11:30am.  The current visitation schedule at Mark H. Luttrell Correctional Center is:

  • General Population inmates have visits on:
    • Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 8am-10am, and from 11:30am-3pm (processing ends at 2:45pm)
    • Monday visits are from 6pm-8pm (processing ends at 7:45pm) and can only be attended if the inmate did not receive a weekend visit.
  • Protective Custody inmates have visitation on:
    • Saturdays from 8am-10am
  • Punitive Segregation inmates have visits on:
    • Saturdays from 12pm-2pm
  • Involuntary Administrative Segregation inmates have visitation on:
    • Sundays from 12pm-2pm, visits are non-contact
  • Mental Health inmates have visits:
    • Sundays from 8am-10am.  Visits are non-contact and only if approved by a physician.
