Kit Carson Correctional Center

Kit Carson Correctional Center is located in Burlington Colorado.  It can house approximately 1560 offenders within six units.  This is a privately run facility that has been contracted through the department of corrections to provide incarceration and treatment to offenders.

Offenders who are incarcerated here have access to education programs that allow the inmate to earn his GED, and even take some college courses.  This institution also offers vocational skills to inmates that include Masonry I and II, plumbing, small business, industrial cleaning, and more.  These skills can be an integral part of the inmates success when the are eventually released from the institution.

Visiting Hours at Kit Carson Correctional Center:

You must have a visitors application approved before you can visit.  Visiting is on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3:45pm.
