Gwinnett County Correctional Institution

Gwinnett County Correctional Institution is located in Lawrenceville Georgia.  It is a minimum security institution that can hold up to 512 adult males who have been convicted of a felony.  Inmates are housed in eight large dormitories, and can receive education that includes an adult basic education and earn a GED.  Counseling for inmates includes anger and stress management, life skills, family violence, drug and alcohol abuse, sex offender re-education.

The Chaplains office give worshiping services, bible study and counseling to inmates who wish to participate.  Offenders can also be chosen for various work details that offer support to a variety of county agencies.
