Fort Stockton Transfer Facility

Fort Stockton Transfer Facility is a small unit located in Pecos County Texas.  The facility primarily houses inmates who are of a transient nature and are housed for short periods of time before they are transferred to a different facility.  Fort Stockton Transfer Facility is a relatively small unit that can house a maximum of 606 male inmates of G1, G2 and transient classifications.  During the offenders stay at Fort Stockton they can take literacy and adult basic education classes and earn their GED.  Pre-release courses are also made available to offenders.  Medical and dental services are provided on site and inmates can also receive mental health services offsite.

Visiting Hours at Fort Stockton Transfer Facility:

Visitation at Fort Stockton Transfer Facility occurs on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am-5pm.  Visits are up to two hours in duration.  If you are traveling over 300 miles to visit your inmate you can call ahead and request a special visit which will allow you to visit up to four hours with your inmate.
