Alternatives, Inc. Pre-Release Center

Alternatives Inc. Pre-Release Center is located in Billings Montana and is responsible for the Men's Alpha House and the Passages Women's Pre-Release Center.  Both of these facilities serve the purpose of a pre-release center by preparing inmates for their eventual release.  In order to accomplish this inmates are allowed to gradually return to society and re-establish themselves first through working a job within the surrounding community.  Offenders are require to demonstrate preparedness for release by securing jobs, residence for release, and living a healthy drug free lifestyle.

Visiting Hours at Alternatives, Inc. Pre-Release Center:

  • Alpha house visitation
    • Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30am-11am and 7:30pm-9pm
    • Fridays from 9:30am-11am and .7:30pm-10pm
    • Saturdays from 1pm-4pm and 7:30pm-10pm
    • Sundays and Holidays from 1pm-4pm and 7:30pm-9pm
  • Passages Women's Pre Release Center visitation
    • Monday through Friday from 9:30am-11am and 7pm-8pm
    • Saturdays from 1pm-4pm and 6:30pm-8pm
    • Sundays and Holidays from 1pm-4pm
  • Passages Alcohol and Drug Treatment program visitation
    • Sundays from 9am-11am, all visits to this unit must be scheduled in advance by calling.
