Wyoming Honor Farm

Wyoming Honor Farm opened in 1931, and was originally known as the State Penitentiary Farm.  The facility has approximately 280 male inmates.  The farm provides a Wild Horse Program where offenders are allowed to work with horses.  All inmates who do not posses a diploma can join the GED program and further their education through Central Wyoming College. Inmates throughout the facility are required to work, jobs including agriculture, construction, forestry, barber shop, laundry, warehouse, janitorial, canteen,culinary arts, grounds crew, machine shop, welding shop and bicycle repair shop. 

This facility participates in community service projects all over the state by providing holiday food baskets, Habitat for Humanity, bicycle donations, recreational cleanup and maintenance.

Visiting Hours at Wyoming Honor Farm:

Visiting days are Friday between 5:30 pm-8:30 pm. All visitors must check-in by 5:15 pm. Weekends and Holiday visiting hours are from 11:00 am-3:00 pm, (you must check-in by 10:45 am) and from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm (you must check-in by 5:15 pm).
