Okaloosa Correctional Institution is located in Crestview Florida.  It is a level V facility that houses approximately 900 adult male inmates.  The custody levels at this institution are minimum, medium and closed custody.  Offenders can receive substance abuse treatment and earn their GED while incarcerated here.

Through the institutional betterment program, many inmates are eligible to attend anger and stress management courses, take parenting and financial management courses, participate in the library, music, and computer programs.  Services offered through the Chaplains office include religious studies and worship services.

Visiting Hours at Okaloosa Correctional Institution:

Visiting occurs on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3pm (Eastern Standard Time).  Prior to visiting you must have filled out a visitors application and had it approved.  Upon arrival for visitation, you will need to register.  Registration begins at 8:15am and ends at 2pm.  If you are not at the institution and registered by 2pm you will not be allowed to attend visiting for the day.
