Northeast Correctional Complex

Northeast Correctional Complex is a prison located in St. Johnsbury Vermont that houses approximately 126 adult offenders.  This prison is sometimes referred to as Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.  In addition to long term offenders, this facility also houses inmates who have recently been arrested and are awaiting trial.  Offenders can take math courses, literacy classes, and additional high school classes during their sentence.  Recently budget cuts have effects the educational programs which now have a reduced number of staff.  Offenders can work within the institution in supportive operations like cooking and serving food, and can perform custodial maintenance tasks.

While incarcerated at Northeast Correctional Complex inmates who committed sex crimes are mandated to attend sex offender treatment.  Alcohol and substance abuse courses are also available to offender who suffer from addiction.  Minimum security non-violent offenders can work on crews that harvest vegetables from local farms and provide a supervised labor force to local state and government agencies.

Visiting Hours at Northeast Correctional Complex:

Inmates at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility have visitation on the following schedule:

  • Alpha
    • Top Tier has visitation on Mondays from 6:30pm-7:45pm
    • Bottom Tier has visits on Mondays from 8pm-9:15pm
  • Bravo
    • Top Tier has visiting on Tuesdays from 6:30pm-7:45pm
    • Bottom Tier has visits on Tuesdays from 8pm-9:15pm
  • Charlie
    • Top Tier has visitation on Wednesdays from 6:30pm-7:45pm
    • Bottom Tier has visits on Wednesdays from 8pm-9:15pm
  • Delta
    • Top Tier has visiting on Thursdays from 6:30pm-7:45pm
    • Bottom Tier has visits on Thursdays from 8pm-9:15pm
  • E/F Unit
    • Have visits Monday through Friday from 8am-1pm, excluding holidays.  Visits are by scheduled appointment only through the shift supervisor and can be one and half hours long.

Inmates at CCWC have visits as follows:

  • North has visits on Saturdays from 8am-10am and Sundays from 7pm-8:30pm
  • South has visits on Saturdays from 7pm-8:30pm and Sundays from 8am-10am
