Morgan County Correctional Complex

Morgan County Correctional Complex is a mixed custody facility that houses medium and maximum security inmates in Wartburg Tennessee.  The current capacity of this facility is 2,441 offenders.  Maximum security inmates are housed in a separate unit from the medium custody inmates  Inmates can receive substance abuse treatment and pre-release programing while at Morgan County Correctional Complex.  Inmates can also participate in work detail that provides community services such as cleaning roads and highways in the surrounding areas.  All offenders are provided medical and dental treatment during their incarceration, and can also participate in educational classes to earn a GED.

Visiting Hours at Morgan County Correctional Complex:

Visitation at Morgan County Correctional Complex is conducted on Saturdays, Sundays and State recognized holidays from 8am-3pm.  Additionally, if a visitor is unable to visit during the weekend they may schedule an appointment to visit on Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm.  Visits for Thursday evenings can be scheduled no later than the Wednesday before by noon by calling (423)-346-1300 ext. 1390 or ext. 1391.
