Mitchell County Correctional Institution

Mitchell County Correctional Institution is located in Camilla Georgia.  It is a medium security institution that incarcerates adult male felons.  The current capacity of this institution is 81.  Inmates are housed in an open dormitory setting.

Inmates can earn their GED while incarcerated, and receive substance abuse treatment.  Personal counseling and sex offender counseling is also made available to inmates.  This facility participates in a program which allows inmates to act as a labor force for the county on projects like road work.
