Marion Correctional Institution is located in Ocala Florida.  It is a level IV facility that incarcerated adult males in a minimum, medium and closed custody setting.  This facility can house approximately 1,325 inmates.  Vocational courses offered at this institution include HVAC, electrical systems, wastewater treatment, and cabinetmaking.  Inmates incarcerated here can also receive substance abuse treatment.

This facility participates in the P.R.I.D.E. program which allows inmates to work in garment and corrugated box production.  Inmates who are in the work camp may also be eligible to work for the surrounding communities department of transportation and public works as well as other contracted and interagency services.

Visiting Hours at Marion Correctional Institution:

Visitors must fill out a visiting application prior to visiting.  Visits are on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3pm.  Registration for visits starts at 8:15am and ends at 2pm.  If you arrive after 2pm you will not be allowed to visit.
