Mack Alford Correctional Center

Mack Alford Correctional Center is located in Stringtown Oklahoma.  The facility consists of a minimum security satellite unit which houses 263 male inmates, and the main medium security unit which houses 670 adult male offenders.  The total capacity of this institution is 933 inmates.  Mack Alford Correctional Center participates in the Oklahoma Correctional Industries program which employs inmates in an upholstery shop, a wood shop, a sign shop, in hay production, and in a cow/calf breeding operation.

Inmates at Mack Alford Correctional Center are encouraged to participate in the education programs that range from basic literacy courses to obtaining a GED.  Additional college level courses are taught at this facility for inmates who already possess a diploma or GED.  Offenders can receive substance abuse treatment and mental health services at this prison.
