London Correctional Institution

London Correctional Institution is located in Madison County Ohio. It has the capacity to house 2,500 adult males of minimum, medium and close custody levels. London Correctional Institution has several unique programs; the Renaissance program which is aimed at preparing inmates for release, the New Beginnings Unit which offers community service work, and the Horizon program which is an interfaith dormitory that puts emphasis on increasing personal and family responsibility through life skills and mentoring. London Correctional Institution also participates in the prison industries operating a dental laboratory and Yamada auto parts manufacturing.

London Correctional Institution operates a library within the prison that is open 30 hours each week, and can accommodate up to 73 inmates at a time. This facility also has re-entry programs that help prepare the offender for release. Vocational training in automotive repair, HVAC, barbering, web and graphic design, animal training, farm worker, plumbing, electrician, carpentry, boiler operator, and water treatment operator.

Visiting Hours at London Correctional Institution:

Visiting at London Correctional Institution are by appointment only. You can schedule an appointment by calling the facility up to thirty days in advance of your visit. You may also schedule a visit through email, read the directions on how to do it here. Inmates are allowed up to three visits each month (inmates in B3 are only allowed one visit each month). Offenders are allowed a maximum of five visitors per session. Visiting occurs as follows:

Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
- 8:15am-10:45am (processing ends at 10am)
- 11:30am-2pm (processing ends at 1:15pm)
- 2:45pm-5:15pm (processing ends at 4:30pm)
