Heritage Trail Correctional Facility (FTOP)

Heritage Trail Correctional Facility, formerly known as Short Term Offender Program Facility or STOP for short, is now a privately run prison operated by The GEO Group, Inc.  This prison also goes by the name Plainfield Short Term Offender Program Facility.  Heritage Trail Correctional Facility can house up to 1066 level one and level two inmates who are serving three years or less.  Inmates are housed in a dormitory setting.

Inmates at this facility can take anger management and life skills courses, as well as classes on wellness and healthy relationships.  Substance abuse treatment is available for all inmates who require it.  Work programs are offered by the Department of Labor Apprenticeship program.

Visiting Hours at Short Term Offender Program Facility:

Visiting is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8am-4pm.  Visits are two hours in duration but might be shorter if the visiting room becomes crowded.
