Forest State Correctional Institution

Forest State Correctional Institution is located in Marienville Pennsylvania.  It is a maximum security prison that houses approximately 2,290 adult male offenders.  SCI Forest is comprised of eleven housing units some of which are multi occupancy cells, others are dormitory style.  Each housing unit has it's own recreation area.  Additionally, the prison has three dining areas.

Forest State Correctional Institution offers inmates vocational training in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, automotive technologies, masonry, various construction disciplines, CAD, barbering and custodial maintenance.  Additionally, inmates who do not posses a high school diploma can take adult basic education classes, and earn a GED during their incarceration.  Offenders can also receive intensive sex offender treatment, alcohol and substance abuse treatment, violence prevention and a wide array of other programs are available.

Visiting Hours at SCI Forest:

Visitation at Forest State Correctional Institution occurs on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8:30am-3:30pm.
