Denver Women's Correctional Facility

Denver Women's Correctional Facility is located in Denver Colorado and is part of the Denver Complex of facilities.  This institution can house about 975 female inmates.  Offenders who are incarcerated here and are going to be released soon may participate in the reentry and integration program, which helps inmates transition back to society.

Like most of its male counterpart facilities, Denver Women's Correctional facility offers basic education courses, substance abuse treatment, and parenting courses.  Some vocational skills that are taught at this facility include culinary arts, wood working, basic and advanced computer skills, and more.  Inmates should participate in these activities because it provides them with more knowledge and advanced skills that may enable them to get employment once released.
