Colorado Correctional Center

The Colorado Correctional Center is located in Golden Colorado, and also goes by the name Camp George West.  This facility is part of the Denver Correctional Complex.  It is a level I facility which means it houses minimum security offenders only.  It can house up to 150 inmates in a work camp setting.

A work camp such as this facility gives inmates a chance to work off of the correctional facilities property with various Correctional Industries.  Inmates can work with the department of transportation, work crews, division of wildlife and state patrol.  Offenders can also participate in a variety of educational and treatment programs including earning a basic adult education, GED, alcoholics and narcotics anonymous, classes  for parenting and computer skills. 

Visiting Hours at Colorado Correctional Center:

Anyone wishing to visit an inmate must fill out a visitors application and it must be approved before you can visit.  The visiting hours for Colorado Correctional Center are Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3pm.  You must arrive prior to 1:30pm in order to sign in and be processed for visitation, if you arrive after 1:30pm you will not be admitted to visitation.
