Bolduc Correctional Facility

Bolduc Correctional Facility is located in Warren Maine.  It is a minimum security institution that also houses inmates who are transitioning back into the community.  Many of the inmates at this prison have less than three years left of their sentence.  Currently this institution can hold approximately 222 adult males.  The prison operates a work release program which allows inmates to work in the surrounding community during the day and return to the prison at the end of their shift.  Work release allows the inmates to earn money, pay fines/restitution and pay for room and board, in addition it helps transition the inmate to what life will be like once released.

Bolduc Correctional Facility has educational programs that gives inmates math, reading and writing skills called adult basic education.  Offenders can also earn a GED and take college courses through the NovaNet system.  Vocational opportunities at this facility include a license plate manufacturing shop, a farming program, carpentry, electrical trades, plumbing, heating, automotive repair and auto body repair, and culinary arts.  Counseling is also available in groups for substance abuse treatment and provided to individuals on a case by case basis.

Visiting Hours at Bolduc Correctional Facility:

Visiting is by appointment only, you will need to call (207)-273-5125 Monday through Thursday between 8am-3pm to setup an appointment.  Visiting is held on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays in two hour sessions at 8am-10am, 12pm-2pm, and 2:30pm-4:30pm.
